Curriculum vitae
During her studies of veterinary medicine Dr. Antys completed several internships, for example at the equine veterinary clinic in Telgte and at the University of Lyon in France under Prof. O. Lepage.
After finishing her thesis, Dr. Antys worked at the equine clinic Burg Mueggenhausen for one year. After this she worked in a practice for horses, obtaining more practical experience.
Dr. Antys wrote her PhD about equine pulmonary diseases supervisor by Professor Lekeux, dean of the Veterinary Faculty at the University of Liege.
In addition to her work as a researcher, she taught at the veterinary faculty in Liege. During this period she obtained the specialisation Master of Science under supervision of Dr. med. vet. T. Art in the profession of equine sports medicine.
Together with Dr. med. vet. E. van Erck she worked on projects for optimising respiratory health for sport horses and assessing their potentials for optimal sports performance.
Dr. Antys was involved with different research projects. Under supervision of Professor L. Couetil she developed a cytological analysis of secretions from the respiratory tract.
At many shows, amongst others the CHIO in Aachen, 2003 Dr. Antys was responsible as a veterinarian. Because of her participation in many research projects, she has gained a lot of practical experience concentrating on equine sports medicine and respiratory diseases.
