Export-examinations
When a horse is sold to a foreign country, it is often necessary to do an export test in order to prevent import of infectious diseases and unwished presence of particular bacteria.
It is possible for a horse to be clinically healthy and at the same time be a carrier of different diseases. These diseases do not necessarily harm the horse but might not be accepted in other countries.
On your request we can take and send the test to a special laboratory where the appropriate measurements can be taken. This export examination includes serological, virological and bacteriological tests which differ dependant on the sex of the horse and country of destination.
Keep in mind that such an export examination can take up to 14 days.
