Bloodwork
During the pre-purchase exam we obtain blood samples to assess the 12 most important blood parameters of the horse. These are haematological and chemical blood parameters which can be assessed within a normal laboratory within a short period of time (1 or 2 days).
Normally the horses examined for pre-purchase examinations are healthy and more often nothing abnormal can be determined with this blood assessment. But if you want to have the actual Status Quo of the horse you are buying, we can include this examination within the pre-purchase exam for you.
The same goes for a faecal exam for the assessment of parasites.
